I've been wanting a tattoo for many years, over 15 years actually. But I could never find the "right" design for me. When Lucy was planning a Tattoo shirt, I thought cool! Maybe I'll make it a real tat. Now I didn't want to just take her idea, I wanted to expand upon and make it my own. So, I put her portrait on top of her design, took out the arrow and blood (to me that was a bit of a negative symbol and I wanted a positive tattoo), and added the rainbow nebula from her Concert Shirt behind her head. I also thought that Color would add another element to make it mine. So, I made the rose yellow (with the usual green leaves) for friendship, and colored the other flowers... In order from farther to closer to the rose... The far flower was dark pink (kind of magenta) meaning "Thank you" - my gratitude for all she has done for us her fans in keeping us informed and in touch with her (most stars wouldn't do that and I appreciate her for that), the middle flower was Purple (actually lavendar) meaning "Enchantment" because I feel that Lucy has enchanted us all, and the third flower (the one closest to the rose) was Light Pink meaning admiration because I do (like all of Lucy's fans) admire her but it also stands for "Joy" as in "Spread the Joy", one of Lucy's favorite sayings. :-)
